FINALLY IT ENDS..... AND THE WINNER IS...

So that is how it happened o, that 18-year old Jeffery Ufedo Akoh, Nigerian, joined the list of exceptional Superstars that have won the most Celebrated Musical reality show in sub Saharan Africa, and joins the list of Superstars to watch out for.


Truth is, everyone of those finalists is a star, for scaling through the challenges and pitfalls, and making it through to the finals. So for those of you who didn't get the full gist, the results are...

DEINDE:
            The "Commander" of the #IbinuNation came sixth, going home with N500,000 and a lot of goodwill and love. A crowd favorite, for some reason the cheers and admiration did not translate to sufficient votes, or maybe each person thought the next person would. He performed an electrifying remix of "Mr Oreo" with the 'Kukere Master' himself, Project Fame season 1 Winner, and Superstar extraordinaire, Iyanya.

AREWA:
            The beautiful and charismatic songstress was in the fifth position, going home with  N1,000,000 and a lot of good will. her performance of Wizkid's "Ojuelegba" will go down in history as one of the most electrifying performances, and to cap off an immensely entertaining run through the season, she delivered an awe inspiring performance of a remix of an ageless classic- Gongo Aso with the Adigun Alapomeji himself, 9ice.

ADA:
         Easily one of the most impressive contestants all season, the charismatic songstress warmed her way into everyone's hearts with her energetic and soulful performances. After blazing through most of the 8-week training period at the head of the pack, she delivered a tear-jerking rendition of a remix of Sound Sultan's epic single "Motherland" with the Naija Ninja himself, that had everybody standing and clapping, and came 4th, walking away with N 2,000,000, and the hearts of a lot of people.

ANDERSON:
               The tall, lanky vocal powerhouse was evicted at some point in the competition, but made a surprise comeback after the judges did a critical review of the evening's performances, stepping up his game and beginning to shine. He gave an amazing performance of Praiz's smash hit "Rich and Famous" that earned the approval of all present, and came away with the third position, N 2,000,000, and a brand new car. Impressive achievement for the comeback king.

PEARL:
        One half of a set of sensational singing twins that wowed the judges in the Port Harcourt auditions, Pearl sang her way into the Academy, and although she was later joined by her Sister Ruby, the grueling routines and training did not overwhelm her, even when her sister was evicted, it only strengthened her resolve, and perhaps doubled her fan base, helping her to coast through to the end on a cascade of votes and intense performances. She collaborated with Project Fame Season 3 winner, Chidimma Ekile, on a remix of the wave making singer's love-themed jam "Kedike". She came away with the second position, N3,000,000, and a car.

JEFF:
The handsome young  man with a ready smile, Jeff literally had the crowd in the palm of his hand from day one at the Academy, with his impressive vocal range, and his good looks, he was the toast of a lot of people, and after Jennifer's exit, the youngest contestant in the Academy. The age notwithstanding,he performed admirably well on all the songs he was given. Character wise,  he carried himself with sense, only slipping once into a quarrel with Deinde, presumably over Pearl, who was his (Jeff's ) rumored love interest. Well, be that as it may, at the Grand Finale, he collaborated wiith Yemi Alade on a sizzling remix of her hit song "K.I.S.S.I.N.G", that had the audience jumping with excitement.
The self-acclaimed FIFA Soccer guru  goes home with a whooping N5,000,000, a brand new SUV, and a mouth watering record deal.
