Okay, I confess, I missed you too. Now that I am back, let me assure you, I didn't come empty handed. Here are the profiles of the successful 18 candidates to make it!  Oya scroll down and read. Read carefully, and look at their pictures, so you can have an accurate idea of who to vote for when the time comes Out of these, some will still fall by the wayside, and the final fourteen or fifteen, (I don't know the number for now),  will then enter the Academy, after which it will be time to vote, and make the votes count.

Ladies First..........

ADA:- Miss Adanoritsewo Tosanwumi Gold, who is 22 years old, is Itsekiri from Delta State, Nigeria. A Sociology Graduate of Delta State University, Abraka, ADA is a self- confessed Jesus Freak who loves having fun, good music, cartoons, and has a soft spot in her heart for Ukodo- Yam and Pepper Soup. She believes in herself and  her music, and hopes for the best if and when she enters the Academy.

AREWA:- Miss Arewa Comfort Oluwafunmilayo, is fun loving, a bit blunt, and cool. A lover of good music, she admits to having a huge crush on John Legend, and says she won't mind having Usher Raymond strip for her, cos his body ROCKS! An avid cinema goer, she loves cartoons, and Captain America. She believes she is unique, and is eager to enter the Academy to be trained by the Faculty and Judges.

DEBBIE:- Miss Deborah Ohiri Olumayowa, born to a Ghanaian mother and a Nigerian father, is a singer, actres, performance poet. She loves food, as is evident in her robust frame, and is a student at the National Open University of Nigeria. She believes she has a "Uniquely Awesome" musical gift that she intends to hone to a keen edge at the Academy. If she makes it in. Abi?

JACQUELYN:- Miss Martins-Okolie Jacquelyn, a native of Asaba in Delta State, is, among other things, a backup singer (alto) in a Christian Band. An only girl in a male-dominated household, she grew up as a tomboy and learnt early to push herself beyond limits to keep up with the guys in the house. The lover of food and good music, who welcomes challenges, believes she has the grit and determination to survive the toughness of the Academy. Util then.

JENNIFER:- Miss Jennifer Chioma Amadi, is, at 18, the youngest member of this year's Final 18. An acclaimed Kitchen General (loves to cook), She likes to make friends, laugh, and sing. (we already know about the last one). Having deferred her admission at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, in order to enter for PFWA Season 8.0, she hopes to use this as a launch pad for the musical career she wants to have.

JOY:- Miss Joy Chinyere Chukwuma, 22, from Isiala Mbaano in Imo State, is a lover (in her own words) of sleep and dancing. The public Admin graduate, who was in an entertainment group in school, has won several awards for her music and singing during her University days at Madonna. she loves wheat and okro soup, and likes to "misbehave a little". She is fond of dogs and cats, and hates goats 'because of the smell'

KUMI:- Miss Amma Korantema Kumi, from Ghana, is the only Ghanaian lady to make it to the top 18.  a graduate of Entomology and Wildlife from the University of Cape Coast, presently at the tail end of a Masters degree in Entomology, a she is a fun- loving,  outdoorsy person, who loves food. She also sings in a band.  One thing you'll only learn here; She once visited Lagos as a child with her parents.

PEARL: Miss Olamma Pearl Awa-Agwu is 20 years old. She has just graduated from the University of  Nigeria, Nsukka, with a degree in Foreign Languages. She speaks French, Russian, and Spanish. She likes dancing and acting, and is a writer for an online media company. she is looking forward to the training she is going to get, as it will help her up her game musically ,and excel in her craft, but I must add that that is IF and only IF she makes it into the Academy. FUN  FACT: She's a TWIN (but if you have read previous posts, or visited twitter of late, you should know that already)

TEJIRI:- Odjighoro Oghenetejiri Annora, is 21 years old. the first child in a family of seven(including parents), she is a First class graduate of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Afe Babalola University.  A full-blooded Urhobo girl, she is extremely partial to Starch and Banga soup, and loves watching horror  movies. In addition to singing and writing songs, she also enjoys experimenting with makeup, and she can always be seen with a big smile on her face because, according to her, she had really bad dentition while growing up, and as such, was never able to smile confidently. She might be smiling to make up for lost time, but will she smile into the Academy, and all the way to the top spot? It remains to be seen.
